Genesis 7:1-6
This session begins with Genesis 7:1. Noah is boarding the ark with his family and representative animals of every species. The disaster of which the Lord had faithfully warned people, is about to burst forth. The vast majority of humans ignored God, choosing rather to “do their thing” in the regularity of life. But, one day, the door of the ark was shut and the rain started to fall. Suddenly, the unbelieving world that for so long rejected God, would now be destroyed. The days of Noah’s ark have EVERYTHING to do with the DAYS IN WHICH WE NOW LIVE. Jesus and Peter connected Noah’s day to the last days. You will see a foreshadowing of the end times and the tribulation in the book of Genesis through the historical narrative of Noah and the ark. It all fits together! We all need to take heed!
