On one particular day, when Noah was 600 years old, God shut and sealed the door of the ark, and then God allowed the fountains of the deep to burst forth and the windows of heaven to open and bring a flood upon the earth, such has never been seen. Everyone and everything outside the ark died in the judgment of God, while Noah and his family floated safely on the waters.
