Genesis 18:23-25 (ESV)
God is the Judge of all the earth, and He is altogether just. The Lord surely differentiates between the righteous and the unrighteous during this life, though we all live under the common calamity of the sin curse. However, on the last day, God will usher in the final, incredible divide between those who trust in Jesus and those who do not. Our responsibility in these times is the same as it was for Abraham – to be an intercessor on behalf of others. We ought to desire the salvation of all people. As we get closer to the heart of God, we become more keenly aware of the devastation of sin and the destiny of the lost.
