After being reminded of the geographical inheritance of the Jews in the Middle East, we will begin to explore the unbelievable consequences of what happens when we take matters into our own hands, instead of fully trusting in God’s promise and His commands. Sarai, Abram, and Hagar become entangled in a disastrous mess of circumstances, as a result of sinful mistrust of the Lord. Today, the world is still suffering the consequences of this choice.
