Revelation 12:13-17 (ESV)
Satan has always hated Israel, for the Jews brought to us the Scriptures and the Messiah! During the last three-and-one-half years of the tribulation, Satan will pursue Israel as never before. He will know that his time is short, and he will seek to utterly destroy God’s chosen people, but the Lord Almighty will protect His people even in this hideous time of evil. Much as He did after the exodus, the Lord will nourish and care for the Israelites in the wilderness. God’s plan will prevail! Satan does not win – not now, not then, and not ever! The devil’s fury is great, but not as great as the salvation of our God!
