Revelation 17:4-6 (ESV)
The book of Revelation unequivocally indicates that a false church will work with the antichrist system. The apostate church, the prostitute, is wealthy and attractive and rotten at the core. She is like the Pharisees of Jesus’ day – appearing “right” on the outside but wickedly motivated on the inside. When we care more about what the culture thinks of us than what God knows of us, we are in trouble. The shadows of apostasy are upon us. Satan is a liar, and he has even now begun deceiving churches into an evil agenda. The true Christian is called to be alert and faithful, as we the world careens toward the end-time tribulation judgment.
