Revelation 16:3 (ESV)
We read in the book of Revelation that God pours out a bowl of wrath into the sea, and the oceans become like the blood of a corpse, and all the sea creatures die. During this time of the Great Tribulation, we may ask the question, how can judgment be so severe? Why does much of the wrath of God involve blood and death? Upon whom does this awful judgment fall?
